LTCL Graduation 2011

It's time to blog back...after so many months being MIA!!!

Although my graduation was in September and I'm 3 months due for this post...but better late than never. HEHEHE :P

My licentiate exam was in June this year and right after the exam in the morning, I fell sick. Hehe. I think that's very common for those who over stresses him or herself out before the exam. I didn't had a good sleep the night before the exam and screw up some parts during my playing. Thank God I still managed to do well in it overall although I was so worried and was telling Estee that I did badly. I was so nervous when the result came to the house and my heart was bik bok bik bok-ing so fast when I open my result slip.

Anyway, cut things short and talking about the day of my graduation with photos...

The graduation was held at Subang Grand Dorsett on the 16th September 2011.

First...must introduce my parents who flew down from Kuching for my graduation. A photo taken with my dad and my step mom...(my cousin said we all look alike in facebook...and I think it's a good thing) :D Anyway...I love my parents very much as I know and feel that they always do their best to provide whatever I need in my life and make sure I'm fine despite being far from them now. Can feel that they are "spoiling" me also by the things they do and all the gifts they've given me...but as long as I don't "spoil" myself and taking them for granted, it's still fine. :)

So far Estee met my dad before...and Rocky managed to met both my parents on my graduation. :D

Thank you, Rocky... for coming to my graduation. Although Estee and Casey couldn't make it...thank you for the graduation present. I love the Zee Avi's Ghostbird CD album...and my favorite song is the Bahasa Sarawak song..."Siboh Kitak Nangis". Our Bahasa Sarawak is a bit different from Bahasa Melayu. Siboh means Don't...Kitak means You...Nangis means Cry (same with Malay word). So the title is "Don't You Cry". It's a very comforting and relaxing song. Keat has been listening to this song over and over with me in the car for the few days after I got the CD while i set this song as Repeat. Hahaha...

Next, I have to extend my gratitude to my piano teacher, Sarah Yan...for her guidance and teachings on my piano skills in order for me to do well in my exam. My piano teacher teaches in Yamaha school too and I was recommended to go to her by her brother who worked together with me in Talent Makers at SS2, the first music school I worked with.

Keat shared my happiness on that day. He's so happy that I finally finished my exam and graduated because he'd been telling me that my stress level was influencing him as well. :P

And this is our Siu Mai...

Too bad this siu mai cannot be eaten....but this siu mai need to be sayang by us. Hehehe. Thanks to her for taking all the photos on that day!

Keat wants to show his talent with the scroll...

Hik hiakk....watchaaaa...Haaaiikkk....

Kai Ma Sylvia

I've been leved up *dringg* and upgraded to become a god mother for baby Genevieve Ling ever since KP became a mom. She's the youngest in our group to get marry and have a baby.

Haa...waiting for Jennifer's turn (since she's engaged) and Jason (since he's attached).

Ed and me...slowly wait la...hahaha.

Jenn was in KL for few days during the new year to visit her fiance...so we met up at Curve, PJ for lunch at Ikea. We were shocked like Whoahh at the amount of people in Ikea...though it was actually normal cause it's Holiday...plus it was Sunday! So we couldn't get a decent seat to sit together...thus, having our lunch separately first only we meet up to talk.

*Group photo with baby*

It's kind of sweet when I think back of the times when me, KP and Jenn were still in primary school and high school together. We see each other like almost EVERYDAY for so many years...(amazing we didn't get bored of each other) Hahaha..

Pocky and Estee (my bodo family friends over here) dropped by to visit KP and baby last Sunday. You could imagine the amount of attention given to the baby...and it reminds me of what KP told me about when she just delivered baby G...

"I felt so neglected as everyone was paying attention to her...while I was still in pain
"...

Awwhhh
...Ping...I'm sure every mom feels the same at that time...zzZzZz...

*Estee & Pocky with baby*

The fact that baby G was on Pocky's lap...is like baby G got kidnapped. Hahaha...if you want to know the story, Estee posted it up in our Bodo blog.

(I know i know..I'm very loving... :P)

Though I don't have a baby to take care of...
but I am a proud mother of my 10 year old Girl Girl. :D

*Her new hairstyle...Schnauzer style*

I brought her to Desa Park City at Kepong for a walk in the evening and had dinner there with Joann and Boney (her dog).

There are a few restaurants which allow the owner to bring their dog along to dine there. I really like this concept!!

It's a really good place for the dogs to meet other dogs as well...but bewareeee...there are also hamsap dogs around!!

Seeing how my GirlGirl dodging and protecting herself from the hamsap-ness by other male dog makes me an even prouder Mommy~! Haha!

In conclusion...I love baby G and GirlGirl...Wow....it both starts with a G! Hahaha..

FYI, I'm flying back to Kuching on the 1st Feb until 9th Feb 2011.

Let's plan to meet up for CNY :)
