KL Marathon 2009

Finally...I've registered for the Charity Run "Standard Chartered's KL Marathon 2009" that will be held on the 28th June 2009.

Thought of participating for the 10km run...but..i am definitely sure i will suffer from that. HAHA.

Thus...5km fun run is enough. Estee is joining too! :D

Sylvia's trip back to Kch-part 3

This is a continuation of from the previous post. It was on Friday morning and also the day that Sylvia is flying back to KL. We had a breakfast date and it was Laksa time again and as for me I decided to have Kolo mee. We also ordered Popiah or vegetable spring roll.

We decided to go to ban hock road to have our breakfast, as the laksa there is not bad at all. Most of the food there is good. We had a great time there and guess what, the lady selling the popiah was my ex-student Mary, who is doing insurance sells too. She is a very hardworking lady and her popiah is very good too. Not being bias here but I think her popiah is good. Ok, Let the photos do the talking for now.

Sylvia's trip back to Kch-part 2

As mentioned in the previous post, Syl made a short trip back to Kch. I spent sometime with her, it was truly enjoyable. It was like back to the good old days when we would hang out together. Syl arrived at Kuching on Wednesday evening and we met up next day after my class. She came to Kuching at the right timing because it so happens that I don't have any tutorial class for that afternoon. So at 12.45 Syl came over and picked me up from my house and we went for lunch. We went to Song Kheng Hai Hawker Centre to eat tomato noodles. Both of us ordered the big plate and it was as good as ever. I can see that Syl really miss it a lot. Hahaha.

It was on the way to lunch that blurry Syl made a mistake. She took a big turn to go to Song Kheng Hai only to realise it later when she was almost there. She made me blur also by using the route she chose. Haha.

After that, I followed her to the Currency exchanger to exchange for Australian Dollars as she will be leaving for Melbourne end of this month and she will be there for a week. *Syl buy some souvenirs back ok* hahaha.

After everything was done we went and watch Angels and Demons at Star Cineplex. We both agreed that some part of the movies are boring and Syl nearly feel asleep, hahaha. But overall, the movie is not bad.

After the movie we went over to Desmond's house to collect his stuffs from his mother. Desmond's mother was really friendly and we talked quite a bit at his house. It was here that Syl naturally did another funny thing. Here is how is goes.

Mommy Des: Desmond has too many friends a lot that I don't know. He never brings them back for me to see.

Sylvia and I: Oh...

Mommy Des: He always brings his friends from the temple and prayer friends back home. How about you? ( This question was directed at Sylvia and she was asking about Sylvia's religion)

Sylvia: Oh... I am Sylvia

Mommy Des: Oh you are Sylvia... (=.=")

(Syl's answer stunned Desmond's mother and also me.)

I was only when we were in the car that Sylvia realised her mistake and we were laughing in the car. Yeap... Syl improve your mandarin! Hahaha.

After that, we went for dinner at Batu Lintang. The must order dish would be Midin and I know Syl miss it a lot and I also ordered my favourite dish, debonned chicken feet cooked with dried chillies. Delicious! We also ordered bitter gourd stir fried with egg... yum yum.

When we were done with dinner we went down town to buy sio bee for Syl to bring back to KL.

Scene: in the car

Syl: How many Sio Bees should I buy? Buy 100 enough or not?

Ed: WHAT! 100 Sio Bees are you out of your mind. 65 is more than enough lar.

Syl: Scared not enough.

Ed: Should be enough. 100 is a lot le.

After sio bee shopping, Syl had the lust for ice-cream and we went to the 3rd mile Mc Donalds to have Sundae...yummy~~ we spent quite some time at Mc Donalds and after that we went home. Syl wanted to use the internet to book her air-ticket coming back to Kch for 2010s Chinese New Year.

Here, she did something funny again...she wanted to change the date of departure, she clicked on the date but she never click search and she puzzled herself there and underneath the schedule there is a button for users to check next day's flight and ticket price...she didn't realise it and went to click the calendar and searched all over again. So cute.... hahaha

After that, she went home and we bid farewell and ... the story continues the next day for our breakfast date.

** We didn't manage to take the photos of lunch and dinner as we were too hungry and as soon as the food arrived we gobbled it down. Hahaha... sorry bout that.

Sylvia's trip back to Kch-part 1

As mention by Sylvia, recently she escaped from work and "catch snake" come back to her ever lovely hometown the catscity where all feline species dwell together. Hahaha... nah she didn't catch snake...she came back and settled some stuff and we took this opportunity to spend some good time together.

This is just and intro post hehehe. We did not take much photo this time, coz too hungry and we ate the food as soon as it arrived. I spend 1 1/2 day with her. It was fun cause Syl being syl is such a natural and good entertainer. (You know what I mean right Syl? *winks*)

My New Room @ BU...and new life

Hello my beloved friendsssss....

How have all of you been lately?? Been missing you all heaps... Supposed to blog this entry long time ago but it has been draft til now. :P Gomei....

Well, i don't really like my jobbbb...as admin and accounts. Pay is darn lowww...and most of the time serves no purpose for my music career. -__- And my boss got this character and attitude....makes me quite pissed at times. She got no sense of TIME and no matter what happens though she's the one at wrong, we (me and my colleague) needs to take the blame. Always like to trouble peopleeee!! So, i'm deciding on making this as a part time job...just to help my current boss with her messy accounts. Thus, i need to think of either proceeding to my licentiate certificate together with my associate certificate....to cut short the time span for studying and practicing. Of course...it will be more stressful...to focus on 2 certs instead of 1.

Sylvia, Su Yee and Serena. Su Yee is my colleague from Sabah and Serena is a Sunway student whom we befriended during the Xperience Roland Exhibition at KL Convention Centre last month.


Btw....i'm planning to get a portable air-cond for my room at Bandar Utama. It's so freaking hot and i never sleep with my blanket on me...yet i can still sweat. T.T Any of you know what's the price range for a portable air-cond/cooler?

My room's furniture are mainly bought from Ikea. :D And my younger god sis, Hui Xian...helped me to assemble the furniture. She was so happy to assemble them and was proud of herself after that. LoL~



I've been hanging out with my Bodo Family lately....also Joann...Hui Xian....Desmond Sim and add another one onto my list would be Amos.

Main Activities with:

• My Bodo Family - Dinner, MOVIE, Yum Cha, ICE CREAM, Walk at the park with Girl Girl, Karaoke

FYI...i'm going back to Kuching this Wednesday evening, May 13 and coming back to KL on Friday night, May 15. Is Jason and Edwin cuz gonna be free to meet up??

Then, i'll be going to Melbourne on May 23rd, coming back on May 31st.
