Nostalgia....

Honestly.....my mind is blank.... LOLx

Oh well here goes.... this is a spontaneous post.... me being a spontaneous person... this is wot will come out from me....

This happened at Jalan Song. Sylvia, Jason and I were having a tea time. We came across the topics about friends. Then we somehow talked that high school friends are more open minded and more reliable and trustworthy.

Giving it a good thought. How true is that... it seems that all the new friends that I have made... are kinda realistic. Can't be relied on...actually come to think of it... I seriously miss my high school friends... through thick and thin they were there for me... no matter what... they are indeed what I call real friends.

I hope our relationship will remain and get better in the future... *Hugs* BFFs
Ever wonder what your life would be like in 10 years? or make it 20? would you still be the bachelor you are now? or would you be marrying the girlfriend/boyfriend you have now? Would you be the richest man in the world or stuck in the same job doing the same old routine you are doing now? Or maybe you have made a major change to the world? Do you ever wish you have Hiro's power to travel in time? this usually end with "Well, your worries are over! introducing the new blah blah blah brand time machine.. it will fulfill your curiousity.. and... blah blah blah" .. but actually I have an Idea.....

Some people may have already done it.. its called a Time Capsule.. what it is is that you burry your dreams, your thoughts, even your secrets in a place and, in maybe 10 years time, dig it back up and see what it says..

Ingredients!
1 air tight box..
1 crappy message to your future..
1 item for the future...
and finally
1 secret spot you mark with an "X" to burry the treasure.

any1 up for the deal.?
I just lost my virgin post and is still grieving about it.. but a nanny has already been nagging for me to write a new post. So this is for my biggest fan! who has been texting me all day n night!. As usual, I usually post things that u can either call nostalgic or expired.. nothing in the present. All in the past!. This happen some many weeks ago when syl n ed was auditioning to be an actor/model. below are some test shots..

Karaoke session & Sylvia's 23rd Bday Dinner - 19th-20th October 2008

Liverpool won Chelsea 1-0 ~~!! Wee~~ Oops...KP supports Chelsea..blehhh!!! RED IS THE COLOUR!!!

First part of this post would be our karaoke session after dinner at The Junk. Ahh..seems like i have to do the posting since all the photos are with me (using my camera to take photos).

Second part of the post would be my birthday dinners at Klang and Kuching.

Jason and Ed...you both got to start posting something!! xD

1. Karaoke session - we sang from 8:45pm to almost 1:30am!!! That's pretty long for a karaoke session. Luckily we still had our voice the next day. LoL~ We sang mostly english songs and a few chinese songs. From boy bands like MLTR, Westlife to ABBA, Elvis Presley, to Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, etc. It was so much funnn!!! I could only sing Jacky Cheung & Gao Hui Jun's 你最珍貴 or Ni Zui Zhen Gui (You're my most precious) and Jason sang it with me...YAY~~ I wanna do it again!!

Photo time!!

Warming up at the beginning.. look at Jason...so INTO the song! Phewiiit~

Photobucket

Starting to have fun...

Even Ed and Jas almost became gay...muahahaha!

We laughed so much coz of this MTV when Jas and Ed was singing it (what's the song again??!? I only remembered we were laughing so much at it)...the whole MTV is just showing 2 bikini girls...just standing there, taking and putting off their sunglasses, smiling cheekily and swaying their body left and right...AHAHAHA...until Jason had to take the pillow to cover their FACE on the TV while Jas and Ed couldn't bear looking at the lyrics with the bikini girls on the TV anymore. It's okay if the girls are gorgeous and beautiful...but clearly, they aren't!!! That makes it even more funny!

2. Sylvia's 23rd Birthday dinner - I had 2 birthday dinners this year..means, celebrated it twice this year at two different states. First one is in Klang, Selangor (with Koh Ping in it) and another one in Kuching, Sarawak (with Jason and Ed in it). ^^ So...fair to 3 of you right? LOL~ Just to cut things short, after the dinner at Klang, we went for Chocolate Fondue at The Desserts, Tropicana. And after dinner at Kuching, we went for a drink at Happy Valley. ^^

Photo time!!

Dinner at KLANG with friends (Koh Ping in it).

random stuffs KP wrote

seems like everyone had posted about stuffs they do and stuffs they did.. now it's my turn ^^

hmmm... let's see...

the blog:
to me it works like email. well, we all have emails (i have more than 5 for the record) but we never really bother to write one. not sure why though... or maybe just me. This is my version of how it got started...

I was at work and...
Syl : ping
Syl : ping
Syl : pingggg
Syl : pingggg
Syl : pinggggg
Syl : pingggg
me : ya?
Syl : hm
Syl : do u blog?
me : not really
me : y?
Syl : coz...
Syl : edwin, wei kiong...and i....wanna ask if...
Syl : it's good
Syl : if we have a friendship blog
me : sure thing
Syl : 4 of us own a blog together
me : no prob
Syl : and update our thing
Syl : really?
me : yeap
Syl : =)
i wasn't thinking much back then *he he he* but seeing Syl so excited about it, and why not :)

So... Ed started to create a blog account... the first url was a little different but it didnt work out due to some 'technical problem' *ble*

about us...:
Among the 4 for us, i guess i'm the random one... or shall i say the one with extreme bluriness that can cause havoc? nah.. not really... *living in denial* i use to talk a lot, i really mean alot!!! but it seems like i've cut down a lot too... maybe because i've grown up*not in term of size though*.. just maybe..

Let's start with Syl (the 'manager' of the blog)
I know Syl since primary 1, when we were six or seven... we did a lot of stupid things *you know kids* we had another friend with us too back then... not too sure what happened *or maybe my randomness kicked in* we don't really talk much during high school...
i do admit I'm a big *literally* bully and have some silliness to the extend where no one can understand *not even me*... Anyway, one of my best memory about Syl when we were in primary 3, i sucks in english like i dont speak a word of english despite the fact that i grew up in family speaking two to three dialects(teochew, hokkien, bidayuh) *but still manage to get A, and that's how bad our edu system was and getting worse* and Syl grew up in english speaking family *wondering how we communicate back then*... so Syl took the initiative to teach me some... she gave me some extra exercise which i didnt bother to do... but she forced me to T_T.. anyway, thanks to her now my ing-gu-rish is decryptable ^^... there are a lot more to talk about our childhood days, but save that for future post :P

Ed (the Emo? *scratch head*)
Ed story? we hang out a lot... and that was after high school... pretty weird... we were in the same class since Form 1, but we rarely talk. if i'm not mistaken, we sat the same row in form 1, maybe in front of me. i remember him as the boy who wore long stockings. But in form 3, we were in the same club *sad how the club turn out though*. but still, we weren't close back then. to cut the story short, we start to hang out a lot when i was in Form 6 *they all went college except for me :(* well... when talking bout Ed, i must not miss out Jason.

Jason (the Hunk??!?! or the Geek)
Like he said in his post, we were not close until after high school. When i was in Form 6, it was pretty lonely years. i spent most of my time online *i'm one of the first 'tmnut steamy' subscriber* Jas has always been in my contact list but we rarely chat. Until one random day, i click on his name and 'prompted' to say Hi. we start chatting online about random stuffs like anime, computers, arts, bla bla bla.... After sometimes, i randomly ask him who is still in touch with him from our class... and his reply was 'no one'... i was like ZOMG!!! there comes the story where we start gather friends and all... but hey... let's not talk bout others :D

my best memory of Ed and Jason? we were the trios *Syl was missing in action back then...bleh* now the quad?? ok ok... the memory was... CHEESECAKE!!! it was my first few weeks in college before Jas left to UK. I got a call from Ed saying they are coming for a visit. to check out my college or sorts. When i came down from my dorm, i saw Jas and Ed holding a box of cheesecake from Coffee Bean!!! Lovely!!! i was so in joy that i didnt even know how to express it... Not just the cake, but to see their faces, it was priceless :) *dorm life is miserable sometimes*

there are so much more to write... really much more... need some 'data mining' from my poor brain before i could jolt more random stuffs.. till then, let's wait for more post from Ed, Syl, and Jas :)

The Junk - 19th October 2008

As promised, my next post would be about the dinner at The Junk. Should faster post about it before my memory is lost somewhere in my brain and might be unretrivable. ahahaha...sorry la peeps...i got not so good of a memory. hahah.

So...we went to The Junk to have dinner on the 19th Oct. I went to pick Edwin and Jason up from home with Cody. I feel like a ta jieh...because i am driving my "younger brothers" for dinner. LOL~ Too bad...Cody's too old to be in that category. I would consider him as an uncle coming down to Kuching for visiting instead. xD

So...when we arrived at The Junk...we took a while to decide what to order for our dinner. Kept asking Edwin for suggestions and recommendations as he worked there before. So.......below are the photos of what we ordered. Four of us shared them...as it was such a big portion. Slurrpp~~

1. Lamb Shank

2. Fisherman's basket (All fried stuffs...like fries, spring onions, soft shell crab (only 1..stingy)....squid, fish, prawns, etc.) Ed added the tomato sauce to the mayonese...and TADA...it became a thousand island sauce. LOL~

3. Eggplant penne pasta ... soooo yummiliciousssss~~~

And some photos of US....

Sorry...That's ME... xD

Jason and Ed...obviously PRETENDING to pray before our food intake...hahaha.

Look at them....hahahaha. Especially Ed...OMFrogwithbbqsauce...

With Uncle Cody.

and lastly...ME with the candle on our table....how romantic. HAHA... Ed's the photographer, so good job!!

The food was not bad. The environment is quite dark...but I quite like the atmosphere though. I love the Eggplant penne pasta...it's very different and NICEEE!~ According to Ed, it's a new dish in the menu. I'm glad we tried that!!! The lamb shank was nothing special...but i love the potatoes =P ...and the Fisherman's basket is so HUGEEE~~

Oh yeahh...that night I called Koh Ping to spot check on her. Ed and Jason talked to her as well on the phone. ^^ We miss you~~~

Syl comes for a Visit [pt 3]

[continue from pt 2...]

after Aquaria and BK... we went to the 4th floor Starbucks to meet up with Cody (the guy in the pic in Sy's post)... We had a little chattie time and of course... photo session :)

*Cody (left) and Syl (right)

*girls in purple...

Starbucks is definitely not our last stop of the day... for dinner, Cody brought us to PJ to a place call the Cave.. *unfortunately i don't have photos to show* We ate random stuffs and drank random drinks @_@

There, me and Syl were introduced to another two friends of Cody; Joey and Kelvin. Kelvin is a guy of our age *ahem* and Joey.. he's a lot older *bleh*. Looks can be deceiving... hehe... All I can say is... it's not my night... *got fooled due to my bluriness*

Oh no.. the night was still young... so... we went to my favorite 'tong shui' shop. The name of the place literally means 'Remember to Eat'. *ok.. no photos* I've ordered mango loh and also we had 'tong yuen'... We both got our teeth stucked with grinded sessame *that sucks*

We had a great time of course... with the Fishes, Burger, Coffee, Dinner, and Tong Shui... how could it be possible we not enjoying ourselves ^^...

part 4 maybe?

Jason's Virgin BLOG

Hmm, I guess its my time for me to blog, my virgin blog. (*Sarcastically*: "Bye virginity!, I'm gonna miss you!" *sniff*)..... ... .. Wow, a lot has happened since I came back to Kuching 3 months ago. Syl, Ed and I have been out for lotsa times for itallian food at Bella Italia, peng hu at 3rd mile, Starbucks, Hawker centre at Jalan Song, Mt. Singai Trip, recently Syl's bday.. and the list just goes on and on. There's so much I wanna talk about and so many pictures I wanna show, but lazy me hasn't done much work organizing them all.

So, rather than talking about recent activities we had together, I'm gonna go nostalgic, sending us back 10 years from now.. to the year 1998(whoosh, wham.. bam and... tada.. BACK TO THE PAST!). It seems like just yesterday that I step foot into Kuching High, into the one and only class mixed with Chinese and Malay of all the classes in form 1. Out of the 40 students, only a bunch of us, the minority, were chinese... (I suck in Malay and English conversation and hell, the Chinese in the class speaks only English! so much for being Chinese). So it was intimidating for me and rather hard for me to get to know ppl. But things got along pretty well, and I made frens with Ed, Syl and KP eventually..

KP (...the nerdy story..)
Form 1 was a tough year with me n her. Actually, nth much happen between us, we don't talk much but we battled, not in the game of Starcraft, or CS but in studies, but rather in who gets the first position our of the whole class academically. (a bit lame n nerdy is how we get to know each other.. but well, everything has to start somewhere, somehow)

Ed (... the fashion disaster...)
We were in the same tuition together learning malay before we came into the same class in Kuching High. But all along we never talk to each other, never said hi. But somehow, someway and sometime later, something happened that made us talk in class... and if I didn't remember wrongly, he remembered me as being the only guy who wears his pajamas to tuition.. which was very embarrassing! and I mean VERY!

Syl (... chatterbox...)
We din't get to know each other much until we sat next to each other in Form 3, when things explode between us. As soon as we reach school, we will start to chat. While singing Negaraku, we chatted, while reciting the school oath, we chatted, while the teacher is teaching, we chatted in whisper. I don't know why or how, but we just have so much to talk about.. and I must say, thanks to all of em, I actually improved alot in my English.

Well, Sorry guys as I did not posted any pictures for this post. I hasn't had the time to photoshop and organized the photo.. but that all will have to wait as I'm searching high and low for pictures of us from FORM 1 to FORM 3. more from me in the next blog..

Syl comes for a Visit [pt 2]

the fascinating part of the underwater tunnel *like any other underwater world* is the feeling that fish can fly...
*doesn't this look familiar..peng hu peng hu*

more peng hu... no no... fish fly by~

and of course... this is the best chance to camwhore.... *p/s: my first appearance in Simply Uz*

after all these fish-sighting made us very hungry... i picked Burger King since i hadn't had BK for quite a while... *ed... pls dont comment on this... you have been WARNED!*

Step 1: Attack the BURGER!!!

Step 2: Kiss the fries

Step 3: Nyum Nyum Nyum~

Syl comes for a Visit [pt 1]

Hi Frenz :)

Here comes my first debut to Simply Uz...
I'm gonna write about Syl's short trip to visit me. errmm... not exactly...

It was Hari Raya second day. We met up in KLCC and head up to Aquaria. It was my third trip to Aquaria and second one in the past 2 month.

So, what's fun in Aquaria? First, we see fish...

more fish.... variety of fish... like... angel fish...

clown fish....

funny looking fish....

and MORE fisshhhhh!!!!

not forgetting the old dude turtle ... some lethal weapon...This little guy here is just the size of a 50sen coin. Just a touch and you're dead...

The main attraction of Aquaria is the Underwater Tunnel or some sort... it's one of the longest build in underwater tunnell or some sort... okay... i know... i'm not very knowledgable... anyway... like any underwater so-call tunnel... u get to see FISH!

to be continue....
