Sematan Wrap-up!.

Ok.. this has been a really really long post.. 3 posts for an event. a bit too much even for myself.. N I don't know why, but I am really really lazy at work today. Nothing seem to be important or urgent when they obviously are. I am probably too tired entertaining Ezra, Eliza and Eslie, the 3 cutest kids.. playing lift hide n seek n ezra's hit Jason coco coz the ladies are weak!.. LOLs.. anyway... back to Sematan: hmm.. so under christine's supervision and her manager's bad sense of time in direction, or maybe just a whole car of drivers, literally! everyone with different idea of how to go, left here or right there.. n we end up driving 1 hour or so.. HUNGRY! .. looking for a blue house near a bus stop which would be significantly easy to find and would magically bring us to the waterfall..... Guess what.. there are like millions!! of bus stopsssss, from wood to concrete to a hut to anything by the road.. and to make matters worst.. every house is in shades of blue.. greenish blue, dark blue, a bit of blue.. My goodness.. we're lucky to not starve to death looking for the beautiful waterfall... and everyone is praying its worth the effort n time n hunger ( I stressed on hunger cause I was really really hungry!)

Finally, we actually found it by a house full of ppl pointing towards the waterfall, drove in doubtfully, to the end and parked the car and then a 10mins walk to the waterfall in deep yucky yellowish muddy road, well u get the picture.. not forgetting our picnic basket towel n etc..

its not the best road in the world but we had fun walking... n talking n occassionaly a lil tease n a lot of laughter..singing songs...even made up songs to sing and laugh at it (sylvia added).. its just fun when ur with frens no matter how stupid surrounding conditions are!

so minutes of hike later, and some bad direction at a fork which lead us to a pepper plantation.. we finally REACH the destination! YES!! HALLELUJAH! Thank god, thanks to my mother, my producer, the crew, n ohh the director.. eyes watery.. that kinda thank you. Phew~~ finally... but then there were more rocks to hike.. but we found a perfect place for a picnic.. not by the river, not by the waterfall.. but straight in the middle of the stream.. on a huge rock surrounded by schools of fish, n also some prawns... just imagine PARADISE.. well of caz we had food! yesh!!



Lets talk abt the food.. these are some delicious sandwiches, a lot of ham n cheese, ice-berg lettuce, mixed to perfection.. not forgetting some home-made honey mustard sauce.. not as good as what you can get from Subway.. but its still great for me at least! xp. oh yea kelly mixed the honey mustard! but most importantly, ham and cheese, honey roasted ham! i'm hungry now!



hmm, maybe its the camera.. or the person who uses the camera.. whoever he is!!.. shessh!.. this waterfall is gorgeous!! but then the photos just cant capture it.. but lemme tell u.. ITS SO COLD in there.. and its a secret location.. Not everyone knows abt it.. and may I say, WE FOUND IT...

we had fun.. worn ourself out! n I just gotta post the next few photos.. WAHAHAHA (I'm evil)

well, again.. the Sematan story.. Before I go any further.. Let's introduce the people again when they are "fully clothed"..

it started with a negotiation... like a pimp talking to his bitches what to wear for a photoshoot

Ed is the pimp negotiating bikini terms with 3 angels.. Syl n Chris is sceptical.. Kelly is excited but shy so she look sideways. Imagine the conversation in your mind..... got it?.. msg me if you don't! LOL

GUESS WAT!.. the negotiation worked and so this happens

Look at the gals.... indecisive but they comply to it anyway.. that's wat you call a good salesperson on a hard deal. NAiL it right on the spot.. Look at ed's sinister smile.. double LOL

There's a famous saying, "belum try belum tahu, sudah try, tiap tiap hari mahu".. Can't relate? Lemme clear the doubt.. so first photo.. smiling nervously, cuddle up together. From a psychology point of view, its low self esteem, prolly in unfamilar ground.

Road to Sematan.. ::Preface::

This is a road down memory lane.. reliving nostalgic moments (at least that was what it was suppose to be). Previously, it was a trip between me, ed, KP, syl and kel... and the nostalgic moment was kayaking, burrying KP in sand and not forgetting syl fainting in the mid of buying ice-cream! how funny, she just bam straight on the road. No warning. Everyone Freaked out!. But that's another story~..

so lets get to another chapter of this new trip down Sematan, this time with new guest.. featuring SnowWhite("whitening lotion+sunblock") cum Cinderella(9.30 home gal), miss Kelly Chong.. and the "I'm fat, look at my tummy bounce"(throw a blob of sand and you'll c), miss Christine Chai..

The plan was to have breakfast at 7am and leave at 8am straight to Sematan. As usual, Kuching time has delays.. and the only people who manage to be early are Kelly n Ed.. So nice of them. Not forgetting Kelly who lend us her Harrier to Sematan. So it means she has to wake up at 6am!. Craziness.... (Actually..Ed said she didn't sleep that whole night because she was too excited xD)

Swooshing down the road in a Harrier is damn great.. We sing along to songs, and even at 110km/h it doesn't felt fast at all. Halfway down the road, I took up the bottle of wine, and guess what.. Kelly and Christine's Eyes went Shining.. (FYI, the story I'm telling next, I think everyone will wanna ammend their part). Anyway, Kelly started the first sip, and there goes Christine, and the bottle was passed to Sylvia, and back to me. Too bad Ed is the driver so he only wish he can join! And between that was some photoshoot(initially planned by Kelly), so here's how it goes

This is me, and I'm just taking one sip.. not like the rest.. and the napkin is passed to me by the girls.. and I don't know why its there.. hanging from my pinkie.. But lucky enough I was sane to take down the rest of the events followed!..

THE CRAZY GIRLS!! (where crazy is an understatement)

acting cute b4 wine(all so very innocent).. n then ... slacking... almost dozing off to dreamland.. then when the wine is introduced!! Madness befalls..


First of all, Sylvia......Look at that hippo as she take down that bottle of wine.. wow! If this is a cartoon strip she will be taking the whole bottle down her throat!. Syl mentioned she only took one sip.. but from the mouth opening.. its hell of a sip!



Kelly, She lovessss shiraz.. just look at her taking 3 sip down from the bottle and still checks for more in the end.. not forgetting the look of satisfaction after drinking.. PRICELESS!. I think this is what that went through her head ("Wine... my precious.. so yummy! Can I have more? pweety please~")



and Christine... the craziest of them all. First she took one sip of the wine, complain the pictures taken was ugly and proceed to take more sip and more photos. Kelly bcame skeptical, and christine bcame High.. Christine laughed non-stop and well, then by some cute logic, she opened the rooftop and went out enjoying the wind. Its almost like we're all back to teenage high-school years. and to top it all, she bcame red like a lobster, and laugh at virtually anything everyone said. She didn't even need blusher and lipstick when we reach sematan. Cuter still, she has a map behind her back!.. Hilarious!..

But that's all for the road.. more coming up!.. Next, we'll see the sandy beach with 3 bikini cladded girls (whistles) and... "the hidden double waterfall"(read this in a mysterious tone)..

KHS fire!! ahhh!!

As per request from Ping
the fire at our old High School Kuching High.

It's a pity how our school caught on fire..and the Blok Pentadbiran (Administrative block) is half gone now...junior science lab gone...Red Crescent room gone, St John room gone. Heard the fire was from the junior science lab. However, i am not very sure how it started...

FYI...the fire started around 1pm on 2nd December 2008.

Joke of the night (Jason's lil experiment)

So it happens on one night(actually tonight, just moments ago), I am sick, still is... head feels heavy, limbs are numb kind of sick... and I am in bed.. tossing and turning, and did not manage to get any sleep!.. and somehow I have an idea of calling my frenz, and c who wud sing me lullaby.. here's how it goes..

Around 10:15pm.. in bed,
ME: Hi Ed, I'm sick.. will you sing me a lullaby?
Ed: what? you will be wide awake if I sing you a lullaby, what made you sick?
ME: err... obviously its some bacteria or germs or sth got into my system..
Ed: oh.. (sarcastically) .. I'm just home..
... then it gets uninteresting...

test subject one(Edwin).. unwilling to sing me a lullaby.. changes the topic!



Not long after!
ME: Hi Syl, I'm sick... will you sing me a lullaby?
Syl: har? seriously?
ME: yea.. like seriously.. pretty please...
Syl: err.. ok.. wait... (some walking and banging doors) hey, ur very sick is it? what happened? (ok now i notice everyone must ask this question)
ME: yea.. been rolling up wanton since this morning.. so is my lullaby ready?..
Syl: erm... (paused).. sniff/ahem... (out of the blue.. expectedly).. *sings*
ME: (trying to stop my laughter).. ok thanks.. thanks...
Syl: hey you interupted me!..
Syl proceeds to get angry as I explained the situation, mostly caused I stop her from singing...

Mission Accomplished.. Never knew it wud work! thanks Syl.. Don't get angry.. you're the nicest fren.. not like Ed.. Don't wanna sing to me.. I'm sick, so I rulez!. jk guys.. I am still young at heart.
Thanks to my best frens.. (Didnt call anymore after this.. partly cause my credits ran out, it cost me RM5 to play this prank! but worth it all) ..

Chinese Fondue in short:Steamboat a.k.a. hotpot a.k.a. FUN!!

We're never short of ideas and places to go to. Wonder why?... hmmm, anyway, if our schedule permits, we would be doing things almost everyday!. This little steamboat occasion was the fruit of our discussion of what we had yet to do together. Some of you may ask why so many years we never went steamboat!! well, lets just put it this way, b4 I am back.. things was boring.. I bring in the crowd! hell yea!(thickface is another condition if you wanna join us) ok enuf of crapsss!.

So, out of the blue, on a monday, Ed suddenly wanted to bring us all out for steamboat. So we went, not knowing that he wanted this to be his bday dinner since he is kinda reluctant to celeb it on the day due to exams. (we're still gonna celeb on the day anyway, who cares what he thinks! we rulez his bday)..

the cooking process! look at the seriousness! mainly cause We're hungry!! like soooo much!
