CNY Gathering at Syl's House

Happy CNY peeps.... :)

I'm at work now...and it's my LAST day of work. Clearing my desk up and sorting my left over tasks. AND...as usual, Kuching is raining again....urhhh~~ Feel so sleepy and lazy. Kuching just can't stop raining for at least a day for the past weeks. Many places have been flooded, including the city's waterfront.

Here i am, once again...my 30th post...to post about our CNY gathering this year at my house. It was funnn....despite my parent's lack of outgoing personality and the fact that..IT'S CNY!! My dad kept reminding us that it's late...and it's almost 12 and my friends should go back. It kinda spoils the mood. And urhh..not to say my step mom's always moody when it comes to my things. She don't even greet any of my friends who came to my house to visit!

Oh cut the whinings...let's talk about our gathering.

Before we all meet up, Koh Ping came to pick me and we went to take away Pizzas at 3rd mile, then went over to her place to get some beers. We chose to watch Bolt together that night as Koh Ping and Edwin have not watched it yet. We connect my laptop to my TV and PC speaker to watch the movie. It was cool doing so. :D





While watching movie...guess what happened?? PILLOW FIGHT AGAIN!!! hahaha...well, that's before my parents are back. Imagine my parents were there to witness our pillow fight...they're not gonna be happy :P cause we're TOO NOISY! Even my dog, Girl Girl was barking at us..haha.



After movie, we proceed to play chor tai di and UNO. We didn't gamble with money....just play for the sake of playing them. :P We on the songs on my laptop and sang along with the lyrics shown on the windows media player. Sing songs while playing cards...does that distract our focus to win? LoL~ Anyway, we only manage to play one round of UNO because that game is kinda hard to win and finish. Sigh...well, Edwin was the first to win, followed by Jason and then Koh Ping. :P Ya ya...i no luck lar!! Hehehehe...

2009 Celebration, KCH style~

Yeaps, celebrating new year Kuching style!


I know this post is super late, but.... I just got the time to do it. So here goes.

Let's just say this is a big occasion that is not to be missed and its nice to hang out with friends and count down with them together. After my work I rushed home and my student wanted to join me for the countdown ... so I said ok. I also asked another friend to join Jason, Kelly and I for the countdown. Initially Jadey, Kelly and my adorable sister was suppose to join us but there was a slight change of plan, so she joined her friends instead for the countdown.

The sad part was Sylvia wasn't able to join us cause she was in KL. Christine... she disappeared to don't know where le... so that is the down part of the countdown.

First off, I invited a few other friends along to make it more fun. Before we whisk our way to 'the Core' at Travillion Kuching. It was time for a little vanity.... Kelly came over to my house and started to make herself look pretty so attract some guys at the pub. Since I sucked at doing my hair... I seeked Mr. Jason for help.

But when Jason was done with my hair... Miss Kelly was not done yet... soooo.... Jason and I played with Kelly's new bottle of perfume DKNY apple (I think...) we tried to make an ad out of the perfume to make it look... erm... well.... nice... but turned out looking so bloody wrong.

The many failed attempts to promote the perfume =P


Sighs... so vain hor....

When Kelly was done... it was off to paaarrrtehhhhh! Yee hAAaa! it was really crowded over at the pub and we took a few tequila shots and well... after that I got kinda well... tipsy. LOLX....

errrrr.....emmmm... no comments... XD

Overall it was a fun night out...thanks guys!

Koh Ping's 23rd Birthday Dinner

This post is dedicated to Koh Ping for her 23rd Birthday on the 30th December.... :)

I know you've been through a lot lately and i don't really know how to make you happy. However, hope you were happy enough the night before your birthday with Don and me. It wasn't a perfect night...but hopefully you're able to feel happier than you can be without us. :D

Besides..the japanese food was great!!! The price also great!!! xD And thanks to you...Don and me were quite full with Starbuck's mocha while waiting for you for 1 1/2 hour at Sunway...that I ended up cannot finish my sushi... T.T

After dinner...we had pool session at Subang. Then around 1 a.m. Koh Ping said she got to go back home already...that's so earlyyyy..okk....some more on her birthday!!~~ Anyway...Don and me continued playing til around 2 a.m.





I already advised KP not to wear low cut as we're going to play pool..she still insist to wear low cut. LOL. See...She don't even dare to bend down more. How to beat me like that while u can't play properly? :P

it was the first wedding among my siblings so we were all hype about it...

2 hours of driving from KL to Kampar... *cut story short* like any other weddings, it has tea ceremony, heng tai & ji mui obstacle thingy, and of course dinner :)

Pre-Christmas Dinner on 14th December 2008 (Western style) - Part II

Welcome to Part II of our Pre-Christmas Dinner on 14th December 2008 at Sylvia's house.

As usual...Girl Girl in the middle of the kitchen while we are working on our dinner. Our Santa-chef Jason and Miss Cinderella Kelly both were busy with their task.

And a video of US with the french fries baked in the oven...and Christine singing "Let it Snow" while taking the video...then at the end she's shouting "AHH" before the video ends...what happened??!?? If not mistaken I think someone tickled her..hahaha. Strangely...I realized I was asking "Are you taking a video??" .. just like how Edwin asked the last time we had our cooking session. Gosh...like cousin brother, like cousin sister...hahahaha.



This is the fun part...we were kinda bodoh about how to release the cork from the wine bottle...and the result???

Lesson learnt when wanna open the wine's cork!! Soak the cork with the wine first before using the corkscrew to pull it up. If not..the cork will never come out. Then...Christine with lots of patient, using a knife to dig the cork out...and POOF...the wine splashed all over the place and on her face... xD We all enjoyed laughing at her though...

First time using my mini chocolate fondue...given by Cody a.k.a. Karipop as my Birthday present this year. ^^
