CNY Gathering at Syl's House

Happy CNY peeps.... :)

I'm at work now...and it's my LAST day of work. Clearing my desk up and sorting my left over tasks. AND...as usual, Kuching is raining again....urhhh~~ Feel so sleepy and lazy. Kuching just can't stop raining for at least a day for the past weeks. Many places have been flooded, including the city's waterfront.

Here i am, once again...my 30th post...to post about our CNY gathering this year at my house. It was funnn....despite my parent's lack of outgoing personality and the fact that..IT'S CNY!! My dad kept reminding us that it's late...and it's almost 12 and my friends should go back. It kinda spoils the mood. And urhh..not to say my step mom's always moody when it comes to my things. She don't even greet any of my friends who came to my house to visit!

Oh cut the whinings...let's talk about our gathering.

Before we all meet up, Koh Ping came to pick me and we went to take away Pizzas at 3rd mile, then went over to her place to get some beers. We chose to watch Bolt together that night as Koh Ping and Edwin have not watched it yet. We connect my laptop to my TV and PC speaker to watch the movie. It was cool doing so. :D

While watching movie...guess what happened?? PILLOW FIGHT AGAIN!!! hahaha...well, that's before my parents are back. Imagine my parents were there to witness our pillow fight...they're not gonna be happy :P cause we're TOO NOISY! Even my dog, Girl Girl was barking at us..haha.

After movie, we proceed to play chor tai di and UNO. We didn't gamble with money....just play for the sake of playing them. :P We on the songs on my laptop and sang along with the lyrics shown on the windows media player. Sing songs while playing cards...does that distract our focus to win? LoL~ Anyway, we only manage to play one round of UNO because that game is kinda hard to win and finish. Sigh...well, Edwin was the first to win, followed by Jason and then Koh Ping. :P Ya ya...i no luck lar!! Hehehehe...

So serious .... HAHA

KP teaser reveal :)

HaHa~
Sylvia got it right :)

The ring was my 23rd Birthday present.
it was a replacement ring to a RM0.50 metal ring that I've lost in India.
Well, diamonds are girls best friend after all :D

and the flower?
it was suppose to be a thank you roses.
but ended up as apology roses.
francis had ordered it earlier but they never send it to me.
until one day when we had huge arguments (hehehe...), he had it send to my office but i refused.
finally, he had brought it to my place by taking LRT :)
it was so sweet of him...
but unfortunately (not this word again during CNY *smack head*), i'm going to throw it away.
It's a feng shui thing, not to keep dead plant in the house.

now that i have told you the story, i guess it your turn to tell me what suprises that you had for the month of January *wink*

KP goes shopping :)

aiyah... i know lar... y shop in KCH when i can do it much better in KL...
the fact that i am lazy to go shopping in KL is undeniable... the traffic sucks, the parking, the crowds, and the walking... all shucks!!! and i hate shopping alone!@!#$%

well... on the CNY eve (which was a few hours back) i ask Sylvia to drive and accompany me for shopping... at first, i tot of getting a hush puppies shoe and also a hair cut...

so, Sylvia suggested we go to The Spring... much to my disappointment, the design that i was looking for was not sold there... *siiiiiiiggghhhhhh* so, we took the chance to look at Charles and Keith... i must say i lovessss the design... but sadly, it's not good for my toes since the 'architecture' was build in a way the center gravity support all goes to my toes... (pretty sad in a way) but hey... look what i did instead of trying on the shoes....

*uuuuu~ million dollar baby wanna be shade*

*hmmm... too round for my face....*

of course i didn't buy those shades since i don't need one... anyway... our next destination was to Crown Square (odd but yeah... some 'errand' to run there) i told syl that i'll check out the saloon there while she can go do her stuffs. What was the name of the saloon again?.. MacPhee? something close to that.. my recommendation? don't go there. Look at that leng chai doing my hair?

he actually hit my head with the dryer once, got the comb stuck on my ears a few times, and break my hair while he's drying my hair.... but i do admit the hair wash (minus shampoo on my shirt) + massage session was quite nice. The hairstylist who cut my hair... very unprofessional.. why? he simply cut my bang, and suddenly he notice he did it wrong and tried bout 15 mins trying to fix it and finally gave up...

*hmm... RM60 haircut and i look exactly like last CNY...*

back to the shoe story.... we went to saberkas after my haircut. of course, the hush puppies shoe that i was looking for wasnt there either... upon desperation of getting a shoe that suitable for both work and leisure, i ended up buying something which is quite out of my expectation. oh well, it's actually nice looking and sylvia chose it for me. :)

after shoe shopping, we head up for lingerie shopping... opps... i made sylvia bought something too... when at the counter, i paid RM88 for my stuffs... wah... so ong number arrr... hehehe... before we left saberkas, i manage to stop by the kaya ball stall.... yummy! havent had that for long long time already!!!

all shopping done and it's time to go home. i just wanna say, thank you sylvia for you time... i know you were tired and a little 'stoned' (no, not drug stoned) but you still take me around... thank so much!

Need Some space to breath...

I need some space to breath... I feel like I am suffocating.... I need to breath.... why is it that everything she wants to get involve... everything I do is a mistake... sometimes I am sick and tired... my close friends asked me to be patient. Sometimes I just can't take it anymore. They say I am very short tempered....sometimes I think... how can I not be.

I am just out for a while and the phone calls keeps on coming. I mean can't I just hang out with my friends for now...

Before I start studying where I have to leave all of them behind as I promised her...

Can't she be more nice and understanding... why must she be so hard to live with....

why?.....

or am I that bad?

Greetings from Mongo

Ok..I'm new at this. Dont bully me ar. Haha. Just received a bad news. Wanted to apply for CPA. As my major was Finance, I did not take 5 other courses that is required to enrol for the CPA course. Sigh. So gonna try applying for MIA. See how it goes lah.

We are going to move to a new apartment again tonight in Mongo.....for the 3rd time already. Wahahaha. Our first apartment sucks so bad. There was no heater, it's all the way on the 6th floor, the hot water was not working, and worst of all, we got an aggresive knocking on our door one early morning. We did not opened the door but suspected it was a homeless guy. We complaint but nothing was done. After 3 times complaining that we have no hot water to bath, then they decided to send someone to fix it. Because they could not fix the hot water, they off the water and me and my colleague was living without water for 2 days. Wahaha. The only source of water was from the Kitchen. So we basically showered and wash our clothing in the kitchen.

After 1 week, they decided to move us into another apartment. Everything about this new apartment is new, as they just renovated it. It was clean and neat. But.....there was no cold water. Hahahaha. Only hot water. Luckily got a basin beside the bath tub. Another thing about this apartment is there are homeless people living at the stair case. So me and my colleague are basically living in fear every morning and night when we go out to work and when we get back.

Some how this news got to the partner. So our partner decided to swap us two girls with the guys from another safer apartment. Some were not happy about moving...but oh well, it's not our decision. Haha.

Sorry, no pictures for you guys. I did not bring my camera. Hehe. Was snowing this morning and few nights ago. Would have been a nice photo. =)

Anyway, gotta head back to work. Got lots of story to tell you all. Haha. But safe it for other times la.

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!!!.

About men, by Oprah

Found this in a forum...thought it would be nice to share it with the girls out there. Probably it would be of some help to the girls who're facing relationship problems. :)

If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away.
If he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay.
Stop making excuses for a man and his behavior.
Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache.

Stop trying to change yourself for a relationship that's not meant to be.
Slower is better. Never live your life for a man before you find what
makes you truly happy.
If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you
deserve then heck no, you can't "be friends".
A friend wouldn't mistreat a friend.

Don't settle. If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is.
Don't stay because you think "it will get better."
You'll be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are not better.

The only person you can control in a relationship is you.

Avoid men who've got a bunch of children by a bunch of different women.
He didn't marry them when he got them pregnant, why would he treat you
any differently?
Always have your own set of friends separate from his.
Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you. If something bothers you,
speak up.

Never let a man know everything. He will use it against you later.
You cannot change a man's behavior. Change comes from within.
Don't EVER make him feel he is more important than you are.
even if he has more education or in a better job.
Do not make him into a quasi-god.
He is a man, nothing more, nothing less.

Never let a man define who you are.
Never borrow someone else's man.
If he cheated with you, he'll cheat on you.
A man will only treat you the way you ALLOW him to treat you.

All men are NOT dogs.
You should not be the one doing all the bending.
compromise is two way street.
You need time to heal between relationships.
there is nothing cute About baggage.
deal with your issues before pursuing a new Relationship.

You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you.
a relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals.
look for someone complimentary.not supplementary.
Dating is fun. even if he doesn't turn out to be Mr. Right.

Make him miss you sometimes.
When a man always know where you are, and you're always readily
available to him - he takes it for granted.
Never move into his mother's house. Never co-sign for a man.

Don't fully commit to a man who doesn't give you everything that you need.
Keep him in your radar but get to know others.

A day out with Edwin ^^

Yawnz......someone else pleaseeeee blog something!! Edwin's pending post seems to be growing fungus already...and is anyone gonna blog about yesterday's coffee bean session with Joann and Cody? :D I'm waiting, k...

Today i took leave until Friday...and today I'm out to bring my car to PUSPAKOM for testing in order to transfer ownership so i can ship my car to KL. It took me around 2 hours to get the thing done at Puspakom...and the queing up the car for my turn was sort of killing me. Luckily, Don was sweet enough to accompany me on the phone and SMSes. :)

After the testing was done...and was printed LULUS on the B5 form, i called up Edwin to ask him if he would want to have lunch with me. At first he said he hadn't showered and bla bla bla...and i said okkk...nevermind and hung up. Then, i called the 2nd time again...to ask him to get ready NOW...and i go fetch him NOW. LOL~ It was like an order..he got no choice. xD Well, my cousin got himself ready kinda slow for a guy...i had to wait like 15 minutes in my car outside his house...and i ended up SMSing him saying "Handsome already la...don't have to take so long!" LOL~

After lunch nearby his house, we didn't know where to go and i said, let's go and watch a movie. We didn't know what movies are currently showing...so it was a spontaneous pick of a movie when we reach Star Cineplex. Ou...we even meet Ronald with his family at the cineplex while waiting for our movie to start showing...hehehe..such a coincidence!!

Btw, we watched this....

It's a meaningful and touching movie...i would rate it 8/10...and.....I DID CRY....at a few parts...Yerrr...luckily Edwin didn't notice. I even need to take a tissue out and wipe my tears. I'm just...very sentimental. xD Of course, Edwin didn't cry :P So, he's not sentimental enough. HAHA!

Tomorrow I will be busy doing random stuffs..like getting my EPF i-akaun pin number, my dog's vaccination records and cancellation of streamyx. Edwin will be accompanying me also...how nice of him~~ I didn't have to do those alone ^^ Well, he got me to send him to work while he doesn't have a car these few days!! God love ussss~~~

Tonight i cooked my own dinner...coz my parents had wedding dinner to attend. I was lazy to drive out to eat so i cooked 2 simple dishes and rice at home. Enough to feel my hungry tummy. :) I hardly cook...so...this is the best i could come up with tonight. xD 1 egg omelette and 1 long beans + baby corns.

Til then...someone better blog b4 i do again...it's so sien reading my own post okkk...~

P/S: I LOVE YOU ALL DEEP DEEP~

2009 Celebration, KCH style~

Yeaps, celebrating new year Kuching style!

I know this post is super late, but.... I just got the time to do it. So here goes.

Let's just say this is a big occasion that is not to be missed and its nice to hang out with friends and count down with them together. After my work I rushed home and my student wanted to join me for the countdown ... so I said ok. I also asked another friend to join Jason, Kelly and I for the countdown. Initially Jadey, Kelly and my adorable sister was suppose to join us but there was a slight change of plan, so she joined her friends instead for the countdown.

The sad part was Sylvia wasn't able to join us cause she was in KL. Christine... she disappeared to don't know where le... so that is the down part of the countdown.

First off, I invited a few other friends along to make it more fun. Before we whisk our way to 'the Core' at Travillion Kuching. It was time for a little vanity.... Kelly came over to my house and started to make herself look pretty so attract some guys at the pub. Since I sucked at doing my hair... I seeked Mr. Jason for help.

Photobucket
Mr. J's styling... not bad... not bad

But when Jason was done with my hair... Miss Kelly was not done yet... soooo.... Jason and I played with Kelly's new bottle of perfume DKNY apple (I think...) we tried to make an ad out of the perfume to make it look... erm... well.... nice... but turned out looking so bloody wrong.

The many failed attempts to promote the perfume =P

Sighs... so vain hor....

When Kelly was done... it was off to paaarrrtehhhhh! Yee hAAaa! it was really crowded over at the pub and we took a few tequila shots and well... after that I got kinda well... tipsy. LOLX....

errrrr.....emmmm... no comments... XD

Overall it was a fun night out...thanks guys!

Dinner with my teacher

I often have supper, dinner and shopping with my dance teacher, Betty especially these few months. I've been learning ballroom and latin dancing from her and our late teacher, James since i was 16 years old. That's when i got to get closer with both of them and they've been treating me very nice for many years.

Teacher Betty and me always opt for seafood whenever we go out together for dinner...just the two of us. I will fetch her from the dance studio and send her back after dinner/shopping. All the while..she'd been paying for all the meals...so TONIGHT...is MY night..i'm the BOSS...so i pay the bill. Hehehe...

Tonight...we went to Rock Road Seafood Restaurant at 2 1/2 mile.

These are what we've ordered.

1. Lamb with deep fried bread (exchanged with french fries)...it's yummy yummy~~

2. Vegetable...what's this call again? I've got no idea what's it call in english but we used to call it "chui sing miao" when ordering it. It's cooked with dried prawns...and it's delicious!
My teacher said she's very hungry so she started to eat first...

3. I loveeeee this dish...crab baked with honey. We have 1 crab each...it was sooo delicious. I would say this is the place i had my best crab lo... unless someone bring me to eat a better crab dish? :PAnyway...i took around 1 hour to finish a crab...so you know how pathetic i am in eating a crab...hahahaha. So, please don't eat crab with me if you don't have enough patience to wait for me finish it. :P

My teacher and me talked a lot...about our family, friends, colleagues, the dance studio, people and life. It's really nice to have a heart to heart talk with someone you're close with. :)

I'm soooo gonna miss her when I've moved to KL. She's planning to visit me during my holidays and I will definately find her when i'm back in Kuching.

Ok...this is what i've paid for the dinner tonight. Just the two of us.....

Quite expensive....or ... very expensive...but it's worth it. :)

Next Saturday....it will be dinner at Crown Plaza Hotel for the Japanese Buffet!!! Yesss...~ I can't wait~!!! :D~

KP and her decision~

First off...

I would to thank you all for all the support you gave me.
Just for your update, me and Francis are now doing fine.
But a little different from before.
Nothing serious. Just a casual relationship.

Now that I have come to this decision, things are better.
Though I left him once, and gawd knows, when will I do it again.
There are just too much to compromise.
And I'm not ready for that.

I have been coping up pretty well.
I've finally found a goal in my life.
Something unexpected, but oh well, planning and executing are two different entities after all.
At least it help me to stay focus and whine less.

Looks like 2009 is a good start to me :)

P/S: Jason, Kelly, Christine.... mana lu olang punya resolution arr??

KL Trip in December 2008 (Part II)

Out of topic: Ip Man is niceeee...just watched it with Edwin and Jason just now at my house. Bought the DVD this afternoon. :P A good show to watch...

This is Part II...and i seriously do not know how to manage my post anymore. I just feel like lumping everything together in this Part II and not think about posting about the trip as Part III and IV and maybe V. Haha...it's torturing to keep wanting to blog so much somehow. I just made myself like im the most free author for this blog with nothing better to do other than just BLOG.

Okay...just cut things short (try my very best, yaa...) I know i'm damn chiong hei. :P

Karaoke Session with my Bodo Family

I met my bodo family (Estee, Rocky and Casey) for karaoke session together with Joey and Cody. Rocky fetched me from home and we went to midvalley's redbox and sang karaoke for 4 hours. It was so much funnnn...and the time really flies so fast!

We were sort of bar hopping after the Beverly Hill's Chihuahua movie with Joann at Pavilion. We started drinking from 7 til 12 at night....from Michealengo at Pavilion, to Luna Bar at Menara PanGlobal and then to X-Bistro at Tmn Desa. I gave up drinking when i reached X-Bistro...i almost fall asleep there.

New Year's Eve Celebration

On new year's eve..Donovan brought me to KL city to have a walk and have dinner at Jln Alor. Before 3p.m. the road was already blocked and it caused a jam in the city. Donovan had to used alternate routes to get to Sg. Wang. I bought a ring for Joann with a letter "J" on it...and mine with a letter "S" on it. Heheee..it's very nice!!

After dinner at Jln Alor, we head towards Hilton hotel at KL Sentral to meet up with Joann and Aames. They haven't arrived so we head to McDonalds at Kl Sentral for 2nd round of dinner. HAHA...2 skinny monsters with good appetite... :P

We countdown for new year at Hilton's lounge. There was Joann and her mommy, then Aames with his big big family (sisters, brothers, step dad, mom, nieces and nephews). The fireworks were greaaaattt~~ And we all danced and sang together...it was a happy night~ I was sooo happy~

My Date with Donovan

Ok...i know you're all curious about Don and me. And i don't wanna hide from you all that i'm dating with someone. But i wanna make it clear that we're not together at this moment. ;)

He brought me for a nice and cozy dinner at Jake's Charbroil Steakhouse at Damansara. The steak there is niceeeee...

Photobucket Photobucket

Photobucket Photobucket

He also surprised me with 3 roses after he fetched me from my interview. He asked me if I knew the meaning of 3 roses...and i said, "It means 'I love you'." I know i was right...and i always loved roses.

Photobucket

We spent Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve together.

Photobucket Photobucket

We played grand piano together...but he played much more than i do. He can play over 60 songs...i envy him a lot for that. Though i am a piano teacher..i can't play by ear like he does.

He brought me back to his house so that i could see his jack russell named "Fido"...he looks so cute and macho...lol~

Photobucket Photobucket

We also watched movies together..."Bedtime stories", "Four Christmases" and "The Day the Earth Stood Still"...played pool....danced our first dance on the new year...and jumped into the swimming pool together on christmas day.

All I got to say that it was definately a great trip~~ I had a wonderful time with everyone...and enjoyed myself a looot ;) For that...i know am blessed and lucky to have such wonderful people around me. :)

Love you all lotsssssss~~~~
