KP November Updates

okay.. even though the cow did not literally fly over the moon, a promise is still a promise.

this month has been a great month to me... it has both ups and down!!!

so, the good part or the bad part?

i guess i'll go with the bad part...

first was my wira... it got bang and the right passenger door was dented and cost me about 800 to fix it... but it's okay... it taught me a lesson to drive and park carefully... not quite... just a week ago, i was driving nissan sunny.. and, again, it got bang... now... it's the left passenger door, dented!!! the fix?? RM600... *there goes all my pay!!!*

anyway, the good part of the month was ...

- KOLO MEE!!!

my high school mate, Joyce, came for a visit. She not only brought me 2 packet of kolomee, she also brought 1kg of RAW kolo mee!!! and i went to Gardens for food for the first time... Guess what? i met another kuchingnites (Wei Ying, KHS mate) while lurking around at Mid Valley waiting for Joyce's arrival. She just reminded me how old i'm getting... T_T

- WEDDING~
not mine, but my brother's :)
it was his wedding registration day and i became the official youngest witness of the day!!! it was fun! the place was lovely. The registration office is a Putra Jaya. That was my second time (or maybe third or fourth if you count in drive through and sitting in the car) going to Putra Jaya. I would say, it's a nice experience since the office wasn't as bold as the one i once saw in a photo. It was nicely decorated, with 2 different altar, the Indian and the Chinese wedding theme. The room is in gold color. They even have chairs lining up in the room assuming there will be lotsa guess coming to witness a wedding, and fake wedding cake too!!! *amazing*
p/s: wait for next month post on the wedding reception! :)

- HANG OUTS!!!
on the second week of Nov, my ACN kaki, Patsy 'organize' our first forth night meet on friday. Pat, 'the organizer' brought us to 'alexis', a jazz bistro!!! before jazz, we ate some hawker food at a kopitiam along Jalan Imbi *i forgot the name of the place*. OMG! I just love it. That night was an american african lady performing. She's definitely fantastic. And not to mention the pianist was... cute too :) *his name is Eric Li btw* We had wine and cakes and endless laughter when we plan for a wicked birthday for Julian 'the bodyguard'. I hope he wasnt traumatist by the 'perfect' gift!


- MY WORK AND ME

life as a programmer / testing engineer, nothing much except late night and tight schedule... Will talk more bout my work life in some other post.

like the saying goes, all work makes kp a dull girl!

so, our considerate boss planned something for us~ Project Dinner!!! We had lovely dinner at Telawi Street Bistro, Bangsar. We drank and we sang and we laugh! *spare you the detail*

and last night? another company event at berjaya hotel! we ate ate ate and we drink drink drink!! FREE FLOW!!! haha...

Edwin's Surprise 23rd Birthday Getaway

Heee.....i'm so drained off right now at work because i had a bad sleep last night..OMFGood-mocha-gave-me-a-sleepless-night. But i'm still blogging at work.... :( Haha... Sigh...as long as i am still able to complete my work in time, it's fine. :) And i am so hardworking in taking care of this blog *you guys too la*. :P

It's Edwin's birthday todayyyy!!! Happy birthday, cuzieeee~~

Okay..credit goes to Ms Kelly because this surprise birthday getaway was planned by Ms Kelly. She's so sweet and loving doing this memorable thingy for Edwin and all of us. :) Thanks, Kelly, for your time and effort contacting all of us, placing an order for the cake and checking on the best venue for this occasion! And sorry you got to lie to Edwin that you were actually in Singapore. xD You're a sweetheart~ ;) Muah muahsss~~ xoxo.

So here was the plan for the getaway and what happened on eve night of Ed's birthday in case Edwin wanna know?

1. Jason picks Sylvia up at 10:45 p.m. Sylvia puts on McD's Gloria Headband in the car and Jason laughed at her. -.- *Sylvia bought 3 McD's Gloria Headband after her work..1 for her, Jason and Edwin*
2. Jason and Sylvia on the way to pick Kelly & Sharon. On the way to Kelly's house, Sylvia told Jason a true ghost story and Jason purposely frightened Sylvia in the car. -.-" Sylvia hit him and hit him again. xD *Serve you right, Jason!*
3. Jason dropped Kelly to Hilton to collect the cake. Jason and Sylvia sang "Nan ren Nu Ren" together in the car.
4. Jason called Edwin to inform him that he's going to pick him up shortly.
5. Jason dropped Kelly & Sharon at Spring's Starbucks to get things ready for the surprise.
6. Jason and Sylvia went to Edwin's house to fetch him.
7. Because it was slightly too early before the cloak strikes 12:00 a.m. , Jason and Sylvia tried to drag the time with Edwin in the car...driving around before actually telling Edwin that we plan to go Starbucks to drink. Sylvia got Edwin and Jason to wear their McD Gloria Headband. *Uhh so cute*
8. Edwin arrived Starbucks at 11:55 p.m.
9. Sylvia missed called Kelly to inform her that they've arrived.
10. Edwin entered starbucks with his McD Gloria Headband....
11. Edwin's SURPRISEEEED to see Sharon with the Video camera.
12. EVEN SURPRISED to see Kelly in Kuching and not in Singapore (with his birthday cake), coming out from Starbuck's kitchen.
13. We all (including the Starbuck's crew) sang Birthday song for Edwin.
14. Edwin's eye was wet...almost cried cause too touching. xD *I SAW IT..CAN'T HIDE FROM ME*
15. The surprise was a success!! *YAY!*


Edwin's the luckiest guy that night la...he gets to kiss/got kissed by all the 3 girls.

The Day Edwin Landed on Earth

Well... here goes the story of Ed....

It was a bright and sunny day. High up in the sky a gigantic stork glides past holding a basket on its beak. As the stork nears a house of a fine family in descends slowly and carefully it placed the basket on the doorstep. Using its beak it rang the doorbell and with a swoop of it wings it lifted off.

The door slowly creaked open and a beautiful lady peeked out the door. She glanced around but no one was to be seem around. She then closed the door whilst doing that something caught her eye. It was a basket, but what could be in it? Out of curiosity she peeked into the basket... she let out a loud gasp... she couldn't believe what she has seen. It was an angel... she quickly called out to her husband to take a look at what was in the basket. Similarly the husband gasp too.

Inside the basket was a beautiful child. Full of innocence and was simply... beautiful (ish...ish)....baby boy. carefully the lady cradled the child in her motherly arms. Inside a little ran out calling out "mummy...mummy..wot izit?"

The mother smiled at the child and said... you my dear now have a baby brother. After a hard thinking they decided to name the baby boy, Edwin. And that my friends was how Edwin began his life long journey on Planet Earth.

The young boy grew up fast. He was hard to handle for his weakness was sugary soda drinks. One sip and he will go bonkers.

Soon the kid grew taller...wiser.... that we are not sure of. LOLX....

Man did he grow... both vertically and horizontally....

Soon he became a teenager and then he took his tertiary education. He graduated

And now for some fun.... Let's see how much I have changed since High School days!!

Chinese Fondue in short:Steamboat a.k.a. hotpot a.k.a. FUN!!

We're never short of ideas and places to go to. Wonder why?... hmmm, anyway, if our schedule permits, we would be doing things almost everyday!. This little steamboat occasion was the fruit of our discussion of what we had yet to do together. Some of you may ask why so many years we never went steamboat!! well, lets just put it this way, b4 I am back.. things was boring.. I bring in the crowd! hell yea!(thickface is another condition if you wanna join us) ok enuf of crapsss!.

So, out of the blue, on a monday, Ed suddenly wanted to bring us all out for steamboat. So we went, not knowing that he wanted this to be his bday dinner since he is kinda reluctant to celeb it on the day due to exams. (we're still gonna celeb on the day anyway, who cares what he thinks! we rulez his bday)..

the cooking process! look at the seriousness! mainly cause We're hungry!! like soooo much!

OMG, slerrrrp, I have to slurp in my saliva again from just looking at the photos.. I MISS YOU MEATS!

Madagascar 2 movie & Lok Lok - 22 Nov 2008

Last Saturday was a very very busy day for me. I went to teach piano from morning until 6:30 p.m. and then went home to take a quick shower...then off to Swinburne University to attend the Swinburne Alumni function (which i paid RM15 for the ticket but i went there mainly JUST to eat their buffet). Was very rushing because i only reached Swinburne at 8 p.m. and then stayed there for around 30 minutes, greeting friends...eating my dinner...then went over to Jason's house to pick him up. Our movie starts at 9:35 p.m.

It was MADAGASCAR that we watched....and just that word can make me laugh already...hahahahahaa! xD

BTW, thanks to Jason for always being the gentleman to buy the tickets for us. ;) Thanks, charming! Muahs muahs muahsss...~~

Person who went for the movie that night: Jason (as Melman d Giraffe), Sylvia (Marty d Zebra), Edwin (Alex d Lion), Jennifer (Gloria d Hippo) & Kelly (Mort d Lemur).

Edwin was late for the movie because he finished his teaching at 9:30 p.m. so he basically missed the beginning of the show. Kelly was so nice..she waited for him outside the cinema with his ticket while we were already sitting comfy-ly for the movie to start. xD

The movie was hilarious....or maybe we're just crazy that almost everything in the movie makes us laugh...SERIOUSLY...LAUGHING OUT LOUD (LOL) at every single stupid / wierd moves that the animals do - shaking their butt, their faces expressions, the music "you got to move it move it...", the grandma's kungfu, and so many others. Got one part even reminds us about our 'dirty' chat when Joann was in Kuching - the air breast. xD (Sorry..only Ed, Jason, Joann and me knows about this).

Especially the unforgetable laughter of Jennifer's...even the kid sitting in the front row of us often looked behind to see who's laughing (btw, the kid seems to be irritated with our laughters la). Muahahahaha...~! Anyway..i was sitting beside Jenn and .. her laughter was contagious...i not only laugh at the show...I LAUGHED LOUDER AT HER LAUGHING. Pheww~~~ And it got into Jason as well..hahaha. Jason sat at the other side of me...and i am the busy body keep passing messages between them telling what each were commenting about the movie. LOL~

After the movie...we head for Lok Lok behind our beloved high school, SMK Kuching High. We drank, ate, chat, laughed...and take photos!!!!!

Bringing Jason to Life

Ok.. so it was a sunny, maybe rainy, could even be stormy morning/night... lots of possibilities since my memory is so vague.. i remember seeing people for the first time.. it was on the 17th of November 1985, people in green suit hold me up.. cut away a part of me.. and hit my butt a few times to make me cry.. how cruel.. so it was the day.. the day i saw light.. as i crawl or maybe pushed out of a hole... LOL.. and then I see people acting stupid in front of me.. speaking gu gu and ga ga.. and my oh my they do make the funniest faces.. and then this photo was taken.. after some time..

Me.. some months/years old.. looking at people making funny faces and taking my ...well.... charming photo. ;)

and then I slowly got introduce to the world.. the things around me.. and how I should spell or call a certain object.. then there were the A for Apple and B for Boy.. Somehow someway, I started growing taller.. and I became this!


Don't ask me why I match orange with green, I don't even recall my face was like this. OMG

And then I was brought to a class.. so I can meet people. I ended up somewhere in this photo.. With the "coolest" hairstyle at the time.. (Why do they make us wear the same uniform, is it so they can ignore us since we look the same. and the teacher can feel special?)


Can you see me in the crowd? We are all the same.. except for those that wear dresses..

And then there was a gap, I guess I must be abducted.. for I have no photos of it.. barely the memory.. what in the heck happened to me.. I am still doubtful.. IT MUST BE A GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACY.. or so I thought.. if Malaysia has NASA, maybe in a million years. Why?... because.. somehow.. I became different.. I became taller.. and ... cuter? or nerdier.. haha you decide... somewhere in LFC(Liverpool Futbool Clubb).. sth like tat



And this photo is what my dad would call, the durian split hair.. bcos my hairline looks as if its a durian almost splitting.. and u can crack it open if u put one hand over the left part of my head and the other over the right.. and with a bit of force.. you'll get nice hot steamy durian brain!.
