Doulos has arrived in Kuching on the 10th December from Singapore and will be departing on the 3rd January 2009.
We were supposed to visit Doulos the week before but it was postponed to last night. Initially, Edwin was supposed to be tagging along for this trip but he ended up having a dinner with his family. So there's just Jason, Sylvia and Kelly for the trip. Well, that's not ALL. Kelly's first question when i got in Jason's car was... "Sylvia...do you love kids?" I was stoned at that moment. xD Didn't know how to answer at first...but my answer later on was "Yes". She was actually asking our permission to bring her nieces and nephew along with us to Doulos. And OF COURSE...i said YESSS again. Omg...is like i'm accepting a marriage proposal...LoL. Thus, we have a bunch of darlings from Kelly's family to tag along with us last night...
Eslie, Ezra, and Eliza. That's them at After 3 while waiting for us to have our dinner before heading to Doulos. Ezra is so funny and a CHATTERBOX...wow...he reminded me when i was just 5 years old and i can talk none stop like him especially in school. My lodge school teacher always complain about me to my mom saying that i'm a chatterbox and i'm a busy body in class. For my mom, she didn't see that as a bad thing...so she didn't nag me about it. :D Haha.. Then Eslie is so funny with her questions "Is the ship here yet?" "When is the ship arriving?" "What time is the ship leaving?" Then, we have Eliza who is the eldest. She's very sweet and mature.
So after dinner..Jason drove to Doulos....and when we reached.....
The beautiful big Doulos ship is waiting for us...
It was raining......luckily it wasn't that heavy.
We see more people going down the ship than going up... xD And it was only 8 something at night.
Jason walking on the ship towards the hall to meet up with Kelly and the adorable bunch. (The only photo of Jason from this trip...but showing his backside) Noticed the couple in front of us has an umbrella and it's the guy holding the umbrella for the girl? We didn't have an umbrella so Jason faked one out of nowhere pretending that we have an umbrella too. Yay....but i can still feel the rain drops on my head. *Singz*
♪♫ Raindrops keep falling on my head...♪♫
Kelly's Darling Ezra bought a few books...which their father went "why you buy such books for?" or something like that...hehehehe. Apparently the books Ezra chose to buy were just too easy for him.
Btw, just FYI...Doulos has mainly Christian related and children's books, colouring books and souvenirs. It's not like MPH or Popular where you can get teenager's novels and adult romance or fiction books.
Kelly kuku (means aunty in chinese)...with her DarLinGs in Doulos...
It was stuffy and humid in there...pheew~
After paying for Ezra's books, it was ice cream timeee for all of us....except Sylvia. Sorry..i can't have any ice creams that day even though i really want to. :)
Saved by the hand....
Sylvia: No, Jason!! You're not taking any dumb photos of me again!
After Doulos...all of us were debating in the car on where to go after that...and Jason had to drive so slooowwww until we made the decision to go to Merdeka Palace Hotel (where the DarlinGs are staying with their parents). It was Ezra's hypmotizing skill by repeating "Merdeka!! Merdeka!! Merdeka!!" in the car until we all went "OKKKKK!!!". We chit chat with Kelly's brother and his wife in the hotel room, then Jason had so much fun with the kids especially Ezra, and the hide and seek at the lift...hahaha that one was funny. And i loved the chocolates from Australia~ Thanks, Kelly.....the night would be so different without you and your DarlinGs.
This is my last post for this year as i'm flying off to KL tomorrow.
Take care peeps...muahhss huugsss~
I'll miss you all~~
